Europe's Top Dining & Restaurants Apps in Q2 2024: A Sensor Tower Analysis

Europe's dining and restaurant app sector saw varied performances among the top contenders in the second quarter of 2024. According to Sensor Tower, the following five apps led the pack:

McDonald’s - Non-US saw a fluctuating download pattern starting with approximately 600K downloads in the first week of April and dipping to around 500K mid-April. However, by the end of May, downloads surged to nearly 700K. Weekly active users showed a similar trend, starting at about 13.6M and reaching up to 16.2M by the end of May.

The БУРГЕР КИНГ - акции, доставка app experienced a slight decline in downloads, from around 300K in early April to 273K by the end of June. Weekly active users initially decreased from 4.25M to 4.16M in mid-April but recovered, rising to 4.47M by the last week of June.

KFC: Food delivery. downloads remained relatively steady, starting at about 250K and peaking at around 270K in late April. Active user numbers saw a rise from approximately 4.08M to 4.39M towards the end of May, with a slight dip to 4.32M by the end of June.

Subway - UK & I had a rollercoaster quarter. Downloads spiked from 47K in early April to 370K in the third week of May, before settling at about 227K by late June. Active users mirrored this pattern, starting at roughly 258K and peaking at 361K in late May, then slightly decreasing to 369K.

Lastly, Domino's Pizza Delivery showed a progressive increase in downloads from 100K in the first week of April to 138K in early May, stabilizing at around 113K by the end of June. Weekly active users started at about 855K and peaked at 908K in early May, then exhibited a slight decline to 830K by the end of the quarter.
